Investment Strategy
While market data drives selection of project locations, the product class and type is not standardized. An integral part of River City’s approach during the design process is to consider the surrounding environment and community as a whole to create the right look and feel for a successful development. The firm’s guiding mission, “value creation for all stakeholder – investors, community, and tenants”, is primarily through a develop and hold strategy.
Opportunity Zone Expertise
River City Capital Partners has gained significant expertise in the opportunity zone space. When the 518-unit Urban East project broke ground in Q1 of 2021 it was one of the largest opportunity zone real estate developments in Austin. The firm has continued to lead in this space with the Q2 2023 groundbreaking of its multiphase Parmer Gateway project containing hotel, retail and 1,100 units and acquisition of 6610 East Riverside Drive.
